Pros

Decently flexible schedule. Get to work outside in IV. Coworkers and customers are almost exclusively fellow students. Keep low and do your job and you’ll have a decent paycheck for the work. Although being dangerous.

Cons

Management is all over the place. Literally kids are running the business. Lots of ethical/legality issues surroundings logistics and wages. Most of the leads are nice and thoughtful. A select few can have quite a napoleon complex. Some think they’re pretty hot stuff packing lunch boxes in a warehouse all day. There can often times be outbursts of power trips and backhanded remarks from upper management who show up randomly when they’re understaffed and get busy. They’ll blame it on the drivers for going too slow or not in the “right order”. Huge lack of organization, no opportunity for growth. They are ready and willing to take advantage of your time. They will mess up your paychecks and hours. No clock in/out. You write your name down… ”No breaks allowed”……. I will emphasize again. This job is dangerous. Doesn’t matter if you’re a guy or girl, I would recommend a can of pepper spray in your pocket while working. Drive slowly and on sidewalks when you can. They’ll tell you to go faster, don’t risk your life.

Pros

There are chances to make money as there are always openings.

Cons

I regret to say that my experience at this company was extremely negative. The tasks assigned to me were mundane and repetitive, leaving me feeling unchallenged and unfulfilled. Furthermore, there was little to no opportunity for career growth or advancement, making it a dead-end job from the start. The management was a nightmare to work with. Schedules were released at the last minute, causing confusion and frustration among the workers. The high-ranking officials were only concerned with their own personal gain, leading to pay cuts and mistreatment of the workers. To make matters worse, we were severely underpaid for the work we were expected to perform. The company did not value hard work, dedication, or passion. It was clear that our efforts were not appreciated, and the work environment was toxic. Most workers quit after only a week or two, unable to tolerate the miserable conditions any longer. The new manager was egotistical and unapproachable, with no interest in understanding the personal situations or limitations of their employees. There were also numerous legal and ethical issues, including being expected to work off the clock and not be helped with injuries sustained on the job. The job was extremely dangerous, and management constantly pressured workers to work faster in unsafe conditions. The bottom line is that workers were not appreciated or valued by management, and we were merely seen as replaceable pawns in the company's profit-driven game. I would never recommend this job to anyone and urge all potential employees to stay far away. It's not worth risking your life for minimum wage pay.
