Snapper has changed for the worse in recent years and being there for the last few has made me realise this is no longer a good or safe place to work.
Management are ill-equipped to make difficult decisions and when put under pressure they chose to protect one another rather than confront difficult truths about a lack of clear direction or vision.
They will talk a good game about being values-driven and committed to public transport in Wellington when it is clear their focus is on using the revenue earned thru the rest of the Wellington contract to build products for overseas customers.
Burnout and sickness are high and recently there has been an exodus of senior staff leaving only those in management and who have only ever worked at Snapper.
They also pay below market.
