Pros

Great people, super smart and talented (not management)

Cons

The C-level has an inflated sense of the product's value and expects employees to share this extreme level of investment without offering any corresponding reward, such as equity, fair salaries, or a healthy work-life balance. The C-level management operates with extreme paranoia and a deep lack of trust, believing that all employees are trying to cheat them or are unwilling to work hard. There is a constant feeling of job insecurity.. Any perceived misstep is treated as a "fireable offense." Management fails to provide proactive and productive feedback, instead defaulting to immediate termination as soon as a problem is suspected, treating employees as disposable. Many smart and talented women in the company lack a voice because they are suppressed by the all-male C-level, whose egos frequently obstruct smart decision-making and initiatives. The environment is impossible for working mothers due to a complete lack of consideration or accommodations for personal needs. The hiring process is completely unprofessional: Candidates are often led on without clarity regarding the position's purpose, whether the company intends to hire for the role, or if the necessary budget even exists. The company offers no opportunities for career growth, learning and development, or compensation increases.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While it’s difficult to read such a concerning experience, we genuinely appreciate hearing perspectives like yours, as they highlight areas where we must improve. We want to be clear that the environment you’ve described does not reflect the culture we strive to build. We are committed to fostering a workplace grounded in trust, respect, and transparency, where employees feel secure, supported, and able to grow professionally. In recent months, we have been actively working on strengthening our management practices -this includes improving feedback processes, clarifying performance expectations, and ensuring that decisions around employment are fair, consistent, and thoughtfully considered rather than reactive. We also recognize the importance of inclusion and equal voice across all levels of the organization. Building a more diverse leadership team and ensuring that all employees- regardless of gender or personal circumstances -feel heard and supported is a priority for us. This includes continuing to evaluate how we better support working parents and create a more flexible, balanced work environment. Regarding hiring and career development, we are taking steps to make our recruitment process more transparent and structured, while also investing more in learning, growth opportunities, and clearer career paths within the company. We wish you success in your future endeavors and thank you again for your candid feedback.

Pros

Seriously, there is not a single advantage of working here.

Cons

Micromanagement. Absolutely no know-how of the business. Salaries REALLY low and uneven. They hire you with a contract and then they don't respect it. Making it bad from day 1.

Dear former employee, Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We are truly sorry that your experience was so negative. We take your honest feedback very seriously as it highlights critical areas where we must improve. We also want to clarify our approach to compensation. We offer a competitive base salary, which is benchmarked against market standards every quarter. Crucially, this is supplemented by a substantial performance-based bonus that, for our high achievers, often doubles or triples the base salary. In a sales role, performance directly impacts total earnings, and we understand that employees who consistently fall short of targets are likely to be dissatisfied with their overall compensation, which is a common reality in any commission-based sales environment. We understand your frustration with our leadership team and will work towards addressing the issues you mentioned. Our ultimate goal is to build the transparent, ethical, and professional company we aspire to be. We sincerely wish you the best in your future career endeavors. Warm regards, The Spines HR Team

Pros

Great stepping stone into tech sales. The company genuinely prefers to promote from within, The sales culture is highly energetic, collaborative, and supportive. the team celebrates wins together, and management provides solid onboarding and ongoing coaching.

Cons

High-burnout role by nature. The daily grind can feel very repetitive with cold calling and outreach, and the high pressure to hit monthly quotas can sometimes impact work-life balance.
