Pros

Nice office, unrestricted lunch hours, able to drink from their alcohol collection after 6pm(it’s a nice collection of liquers)

Cons

All jobs are from government so no room to expand if your doing the creative work. There are unlimited changes provided to client, meaning to say that e.g. after 10 changes, after project is closed, you are still liable to do changes. Unrestricted lunch hours means no work done during office hours, a lot of work done after office hours. A lot of last minute internal changes which comes in drips-n-drabs at late night. Lastly, they are kidding themselves when they say there’s no politics.

Pros

The working team is nice and fun and easy to work with, the office is big and spacious, food is cheap around the area.

Cons

Granted, I am not the most perfect employee and had my own flaws and faults but too much happened to properly list out within my period, but here are some key highlights: 1. Within 4 months into my role, I saw 5 people from different teams leave the company. 2. A poor first day induction, where there was no proper onboarding and education of company, roles and structure of teams, and clear outline of benefits and entitlements. 3. There is no proper structure or procedure on how roles are to do things (I.e., content and ideas for pitches) and claims are as and when management says it’s okay. 4. No clear definition on KPIs and expectations, poorly communicated instructions and next steps from management. 5. Excessive workload which is to be “expected” of you, and when you’re unable to deliver, management is quick to play the blame game instead of providing support, or if they gave support, it felt like it was a chore for them to provide the help needed. 6. Had an account director make very inappropriate comments over lunch to a new hire on the team.

Pros

Good work-life balance, good team

Cons

Really incompetent upper management that's causing a drain on company finances. Resistance to change/growth/innovation. Disappointing. Noticed a lot of younger, sharper, smarter employees leaving.
