They misrepresented my job duties in the job listing. I had to take on significantly more responsibilities than detailed in the listing. They did not complete annual reviews on time, which meant that raises were put off and employees were not paid fairly. They referred to their staff as a "family" which we all know is a huge red flag. The property I worked at was neglected, and almost every proposed improvement was rejected due to "budget" reasons. We were told to lie to customers that there was pest control on the whole property, when only the office was sprayed monthly for pests. We couldn't even afford bug spray, so we had to knock down wasp nests and spider webs daily with a broom, sometimes with wasps still in the nests. The low wages were just the icing on the rotten corporate cake.
