Pros

Working at Sweatpals feels like being part of something much bigger than yourself. The mission to make movement social and accessible isn’t just marketing language it actually drives the day-to-day. Leadership is transparent, scrappy, and highly execution-focused. There’s a genuine culture of ownership -- everyone, from marketing to ops to product, is empowered to test ideas quickly and see real results. The pace is fast, but it’s paired with a lot of trust and autonomy. You get to wear multiple hats, build new processes from the ground up, and collaborate with people who truly care about fitness, community, and impact. The energy is high, and there is a lack of ego, in the best way.

Cons

It’s a startup, so priorities can shift quickly and resources are limited. If you prefer strict structure or slow decision cycles, this probably isn’t the right environment. That said, leadership is receptive to feedback and improving systems every quarter.

Fast-paced startup where you can make a real impact

Pros

Great place if you’re scrappy, entrepreneurial, and want to grow fast. You get a lot of ownership early - your ideas aren’t just heard, they often get implemented, fast. My favorite part is that the team genuinely cares about building something meaningful, not just chasing vanity metrics. Leadership is approachable, transparent, and open to feedback. It's really cool to be a part of a company that users really LOVE - super proud of be a SweatPals.

Cons

Priorities can shift quickly, which can sometimes feel chaotic especially if you’re not used to startup environments. Expectations are high - not much hand-holding, they are taking feedback and adding more onboarding and structures now but it was a lot to learn at the beginning. You get more freedom and at the same time you need to be self-motivated.

Work here only if you have no other choice

Pros

Nothing I can think of...

Cons

Working here feels like an endless struggle. The salary is low, and you’re given a refurbished laptop that barely works, setting you up for frustration from day one. Deadlines are completely unrealistic, and the onboarding process is a mess. In fact, they’ll expect you to start working even before your official start date. Team collaboration is nearly impossible, with people spread across different time zones and no real effort to make things easier. Team meetings feel pointless everyone only cares about their own work, and support is nonexistent. To make things worse, there are no holidays or sick days. Even on public holidays, you have to use your own leave if you want a day off. Overall, it’s a draining environment where you give everything, but get nothing in return.
