Pros

People working there are really dedicated, individual acts of great kindness and caring. Swedish listened to staff and was responsive to challenges. Now unsupported by a "ready...fire...aim" management

Cons

Poor management structure, takeover by Providence changed culture from Nordstrom's to Walmart. Catholic Provbot culture pervades what was a great place to work. Unethical decision making, like hiring and then laying people off 2 weeks later, does not inspire confidence. Cost cutting measures gut the integrity of the organization.

Cons

Disorganized Unprofessional staff Poor and outdated training materials Angry doctors who storm out in the middle of the day and never come back Frustrated patients dissatisfied with company processes Talented people leaving in packs as fast as they can 6-7 day work weeks - 40 hours spread across 7 days in many positions

Salaries, benefits, excellent care, and the people you work with.

Cons

5 CEOs over the last 7 years has led to lots of instability. The recent merger with Providence has been immensely distracting, and Providence pretty much calls the shots. Employee morale is extremely low.
