I recently had a disappointing experience working at Tops InfoSolutions Pvt LTD. I was asked to resign from my job just because I updated my LinkedIn profile with "open to work." I was only looking for remote work opportunities to grow my career and find a better work-life balance, but instead of understanding that, the company chose to let me go.
I find it very unfortunate that a company would take such a harsh step for something so simple. As employees, we all look for ways to improve ourselves and explore new opportunities, and it’s sad that the company didn’t support that. Instead of encouraging growth and trust, they made me feel like I did something wrong just by updating my profile.
I hope the company rethinks how they treat their employees, especially when it comes to career growth and personal choices. There are many companies that support and respect their team members’ ambitions. I wish Tops InfoSolutions had done the same.
For anyone considering joining this company, I would suggest looking closely at their policies and how they treat employees who want to grow in their careers.
