Pressure - not your ordinary everyday pressures that come with employment in a fast paced business, unreasonable deadlines and muddy expectations. Poor leadership communication and a can do attitude to everything with little to know thought. The idea is great but the execution is always poorly communicated and the expectations placed on those who must deliver are horrifically out of proportion with reality. Many people in this company silently suffer, it’s a panorama special waiting to happen. Wild threats across the business over who will be fired next, who got the wrong end of the stick and is falling from grace or just a bad day, the whole business feels it.. Changing directives, poor understanding or research into every decision or ChatGPT led product and business development, this is the level of incompetence on display as this business continues to grow. Staff are the diamonds and help the business grow in spite of leadership, if the leadership had the right mindset and skills, this could be a great thing.

It’s difficult to describe how awful it is to work at Tabeo! There is no culture - the leadership team treat employees like slave labour and do not want them to have a work life balance: • If you take a sick day they assume you are faking it and taking advantage of them, and will put you on Statutory Sick Pay as fast as possible • Working hours are insane and they always expect more from you - expect contact out of hours and harsh deadlines at no notice • The CEO frequently threatened to cancel people’s holidays This all stems from the CEO who remains the majority shareholder and won’t leave until someone buys the company from him. He is incredibly unprofessional and will yell and swear when things don’t go his way. He frequently fires members of the team who are genuinely doing their best - often for no reason at all, or because their performance has slipped due to burnout. This job was incredibly bad for my health and I echo the other reviews on here - it’s not worth it. Find a job somewhere else.
