Pros

As a smaller, quickly growing company, there are a lot of opportunities for growth and to have your ideas heard. The management is always open to feedback, and they expect creativity and initiative in contributing to the development of their products and in internal process improvement. The environment is challenging, but collaborative, with a great deal of teamwork and support. The expectations for employees are high, but reasonable, and it's really the sort of work environment where you truly get out what you put in.

Cons

Anyone who wants a highly structured, 9-to-5, clock-in-clock-out sort of job would probably not be well-suited for TantaComm. The lack of formal processes and documentation for some things means employees need to be independent, unafraid of a challenge, and take initiative. While this work environment isn't ideally suited for certain personalities and work styles, it does offer enormous flexibility and opportunities for creativity and professional development.

Pros

From the first day I started I had the opportunity to work in a wide range of marketing avenues I hadn't been able to work with in previous jobs, as they were split between different departments. There has been no micromanagement and there is a level of trust in each employee's skills and job ability, that I have not seen in any company I have worked with previously. Because of the encouragement from management and other employees I have been able to grow significantly in my marketing skills and have been able to test new ideas and theories (to much success) with the blessing of senior management. My co-workers are great to work with and the environment is fun and growth oriented. The kitchen is fully stocked and there are company events every couple of months.

Cons

It's a smaller company that is growing, therefore, the workload on each individual can be heavier and it's much more noticeable when someone is out of the office. Because they are going through some growing pains, the training process was still being developed for the marketing department and was less detailed than I had experienced in the past.
