      Startup with many problems

      Nice office and nice people

      Cons

      - Management is very inexperienced, a bunch of bad decision makers. - meeting culture is chaos, they try to adapt methods from other companies in a truly bad way. - Leadership is generally bad, people in critical functions behave like children. - The layoffs call was like Succession scene, also some of these calls where handled in a very unprofessional way, - No empathy or whatsoever, people who recently moved to Berlin to work here was fired, a lot of people in maternity leave as well.

      Politics and weak data privacy.

      Office location is great and good work life balance.

      Cons

      Politics: If you are not interested in company's politics then no promotion, no job security, no growth. A lot of people including "employee representation team" cozy up to the management. It is not contribution that matters but marketing yourself. C-level runs after anything that is shining, switching strategy frequently and fail to build a strong foundation. The PII data (personal email address and full name) of people who were fired was publicly available. No measures were taken by the company, a weak performance for a company that hold sensitive personal information of their customers.

      Pros

      Taxfix used to be a great company, they had everything to succeed.

      Cons

      The management team thinks they have strong skills to manage the company but I've never seen such a poor performance. The CMO brings a lot of conflict instead of building a team spirit culture, the CEO doesn't really care about anything related to people and wellbeing and the CPO/Founder, used to be a great manager but the fact that he's been allowing these managers to bring down his own company, is very disappointing. The atmosphere is very negative and top talents are leaving the company or waiting to get laid off so they can move on with a severance package, nobody is there because they feel motivated or engaged by their job. Employees are quitting or waiting to be laid off.
