Very interesting opportunities, with some downsides.
Pros
- Very diverse environment and freedom to be yourself (dress, hairstyle) - Many different projects and you can change areas without much hassle - Very nice people to work with, most very passionate and smart - Flexible working hours and holidays - Things are always changing and leaders are always interested in adopting state-of-the-art technologies and practices - Traveling opportunities based on your interests - Company encourages and supports group activities outside of work
Cons
- Internal company structures are not very strong so any procedure usually takes a lot of talking and searching around - Salary is not high and the yearly salary progression is not high as well - Employee turnover period seems pretty short. Many very capable professionals I have met left the company around the 2~3 year mark - At least in my experience the senior management was always very comprehensive and supportive when I had issues
