Compensation Stagnation: Endured over two years of absolute salary stagnation during a severe cost of living crisis, followed by only insignificant "cost-of-living adjustments" that fail to reflect market rates or compensate for lost time. Morale Collapse: Company morale has fallen off a cliff; the atmosphere is universally low. Identity Destruction: The parent company (Tech Mahindra) is actively merging Tenzing into its wider operation, effectively destroying the high-quality, boutique brand from the inside out. Tenzing is a shell of its former self. Toxic Culture: Tech Mahindra leadership employs a fear-based management style, promoting the toxic mentality of "you are lucky to work here." Lack of Investment: Commitment to learning and development (L&D) has dried up; there is hardly any training or upskilling offered anymore. Reputation Damage: The association with Tech Mahindra, which has a very poor reputation across the New Zealand industry, is a poison chalice. High Staff Churn: Churn is getting worse and worse as experienced local talent leaves for environments that offer basic respect and market-competitive pay.
