      It doesn't take long to realize that the management of powell place and spring house only care about their friends and family, a clique (that they hire on a regular basis). Favouritism, bullying, shaming, lying, and blatant disregard for the safety and well-being of their employees and clients is all too common. Staff is too busy gossiping and stabbing each other in the back, vulnerable clients are neglected and suffer as a result. Disrespectful and Disgraceful! After working there for a short time, the anxiety caused by this toxic, and commonly under-staffed environment was too much to endure. Your job will be babysitting adult women, cleaning feces from bathroom walls and doing dishes.

      Union. They have so many grievances filed against the Bloom Group, they can't keep up though.

      Cons

      No tools or relationships in the community so you don't help secure housing, you babysit. Most of the staff are there for the money and are abusive of their power. The whole place is oppressive to staff and residents. The entire organization has gone from being a place that was good to work for years ago to screwing staff out of well-paying full-time jobs, and laying them all off to come back as PT. The remaining staff are bitter.
