Great learning environment with plenty of opportunities to gain experience with engineering design, manufacturing, and testing of proof-of-concept prototypes.
Cons
The onus is put on the intern to take initiative for further learning. This isn't necessarily a con, but some improvements could be made for better organizing students' responsibilities to ensure a balanced learning environment.

Small size leads to supply chain issues as large manufacturers and suppliers overlook our small orders and cause unexpected product delays.
