Pros

- Good work-life balance with working hours: 10am-5pm, 1-hour lunch break - Flexible hours and dates depending on your availability but 3 days/week is required - Supportive, friendly colleagues and managers. No drama - Staff discount - You are on your feet and moving around a lot, not chained to a desk Job involves shelving books, vinyls, clothes and other products; keeping track of the items shelved; checking item quality before packing orders for customers; using online software to book shipment and ship orders. Occasional customer service tasks via email.

Cons

- Environment can get occasionally chaotic if there is a large volume of orders that day, or if understaffed and you have to switch tasks on the fly - Environment can get very dusty due to the many books and boxes. There were fans but no air-con when I was there - High volume of products to sort through within a limited space of the warehouse, can get squeezy sometimes - Some may find the physical exertion a disadvantage

Pros

Very impact driven place to work at. Coworkers are amazing and the company mission is great.

Cons

Can be scrappy because it is a startup
