Pros

Great people and team environment, fast paced, supportive management good opportunity for promotion I have been in business for 5+ years and love this place. I have read some reviews on this site and honestly am very disappointed (in one in particular) and think important for a real view, not from someone who openly states they hate the company and management. Its not perfect but I love it. I am female, work in the Ticketing team and have recently been promoted. 85% of senior managers in the ticketing team are female so claims of a "boys Club" are not correct. As for a toxic culture and bullying , this is not my experience or the experience of the people I work with, quite the opposite, The "senior" leader of TEG's Ticketing business has been an amazing mentor for me and has the respect of his team. Management do have high expectations and it can be a pressure environment, like I said its not perfect, but it is an environment we love. Many people in our team have been in the business 10 + years and many also come back to Ticketek after going other places to work. The CEO is a larger than life character who cares about the business and the people, and works harder than anyone I know. The business would not be what it is without him ....of course if you don't want to be here you should not be here and he will say that. The Live entertainment area has been hit very hard by COVID, but the company did not do what airlines and others did and sack a whole bunch of people, yes many people were down to 3 days work per week and manty people worked more than that, but what else were we going to do in the case we were in, It was also Senior Managers who took a cut, I think before anyone else, but the whole team is back working full time now (even though more lockdowns)

Cons

High workload, high pressure, 24/7 industry, not great pay, expectation of working out of hours and weekends, clients can be very, very difficult, industry hit hard by COVID. Some negative team members who try to influence others.

Pros

Great team Overall laid back culture

Cons

- Awfully managed - Management happily over works employees then will say they never asked you to do extra work if you complain - Management is more concerned about employees discussing struggles they are facing things with eachother than fixing them -Only cares about profits and not people - long event days, lots of weekend work, no car or fuel card provided despite constant travel to events - promotions are for those in the club with upper middle management not based on merit - CEO says the high turnover rate is a great thing - no training provided - if someone quits you take on their work with no pay incentive, this can be on going for a year - average systems they use all need updating which makes delivering to the client so much harder - new technologies often rolled out so quickly which causes so many issues for customers and clients - they aren't flexible with working arrangements - zero work life balance - they have policies that aren't enforced for years then enforce them when it suits them despite it being used a certain way since you started - average pay and no way to ever get a promotion or rise
