The reason given was vague—something about performance not meeting expectations—despite never receiving any feedback or guidance that anything needed improvement. I even returned to work early from a serious injury and still delivered on time, which made the decision feel especially confusing and disappointing. The lack of communication from management about performance expectations or concerns during the entire period was frustrating. It came as a complete surprise to both me and my team, who were equally shocked and disagreed with the decision.
