Pros

Met some good people there

Cons

It's interesting to note the surge in positive reviews for TripleTen in November, precisely when a significant number of layoffs occurred (on unfavorable terms, of course). Particularly for those overseeing content, it's evident that this company prioritizes sales over quality, often at the expense of deceiving customers. My personal experience at TripleTen was far from satisfactory. Respect is a rarity, and financial compensation falls short, especially considering the freelance contract structure that provides little job security. Networking within the company may reveal a preferential treatment dynamic, where those acquainted with higher-ups secure their positions, leaving others to face potential goodbyes sooner rather than later. It's disheartening when marketing touts slogans like "change your life" and "pursue a new profession" while TripleTen employees find themselves feeling miserable and undervalued. Upon departure, don't expect a reasonable severance package to cushion the blow. Overall, my time at TripleTen left me disillusioned and dissatisfied.

Pros

The health insurance was excellent, and my direct team was supportive, talented, and genuinely great to work with. It’s a shame we’re all unemployed now.

Cons

This company has no idea what its goals are, and employees pay the price. I was only there for less than a year before being laid off, along with several members of my team who were completely blindsided. There is no structure or support in place to help employees succeed, and everything feels like it’s under an intense time crunch. The CEO holds weekly meetings where he acts like everything is fine with sales, only to lay off large portions of the workforce shortly after. Even worse, the next day they post hundreds of new roles and act like they couldn’t have moved any of us into one of them. Please do not be fooled by the positive reviews. This is just another tech company playing fast and loose with people’s livelihoods. It’s actually sickening to see them continue hiring for roles that will likely be cut again in a few months. This company does not value career growth or the well-being of its employees. The departments operate completely separately and have no idea how to function as one organization.

Pros

Above average health benefits plan, relaxed culture, working remote. I worked as a Placement Coordinator for three months, and while I initially had high hopes for the role, my experience was challenging.

Cons

The first month was particularly difficult, as I did not have access to the correct resources to be effective in the role. Even after I began to get acclimated, the expectations were unrealistic given the current state of the job market. In addition, after taking a short honeymoon, I returned to find that my assignments had not been picked up in my absence, which left me in a tough spot upon returning. Unfortunately, I was laid off just three months into the role, which felt abrupt and left me questioning the support structures in place for employees. Overall, it seemed there was a lack of adequate communication and support, making it challenging to meet the expectations set by the company.
