They try to trap people in 3-4 year contracts via some German courses agreement. - The boss micro-manages all employees regardless of seniority. - Absolutely no home office in the first year. Maybe just in very very rare exceptions. - They play the "family" card until someone tries to leave, then they are "disowned" and all hell breaks loose. - When I left they didn't pay me the some leftover vacation days and overtime. - No in-house products, you are just rented to other companies as a contractor.

It depends on the type of the developer you are. For example, if you are searching for the opportunity to work for big companies like DB, Audi, Porsche, or Bosch, and not be a direct employee of those big companies, this is a perfect company for you. If you are caring about the product, and want to make an impact on WHAT will be developed, this company is mostly not for you. The reason why I left the company is because I found out that I really like working on in-house projects. This company has it, but nowadays the market is oriented to the big players and small projects, simply cannot survive. And I also found out how much I hate SAFe, LESS, and other corporate frameworks that big clients like Bosch are using. As a guy who enjoys pair programming, Trunk-based development, and TDD, I couldn't work for those clients anymore.
