Pros

It was easy to get a fully remote position. But maybe that was because of my unusual skillset. I’m mostly a reverse engineer, specializing in low level Windows OS. At first the work was fun and rewarding….

Cons

This is a small startup with a CEO not fully understanding the technical ins and outs of their product. But worst of all, the people on top of the seniority ladder are just career micromanagers. That last one made my last months there quite unbearable. Finally I got fired without a notice over Slack on Friday night when my accounts were blocked. I tried to contact them and the CEO finally got back to me only on Monday.

Pros

Great employees, great customers, and exciting technology. A pleasure helping organizations around the world achieve more with software.

Cons

Like any high growth startup, work involves the occasional crunch time. Balanced with generous vacation and time off policies.
