Managers can be a little too strict

Only reason this company does well is that it realistically has no competition, and as a result holds onto its contracts despite terrible delivery and software. Extremely low bar for interviews, HR has no transparency, and there is no real effort to hire talented engineers that can raise the bar for contribution in the organization. Growth here for an early career employee here is wasted. Upper management is not open to new ideas and wants to stick to old ways

Typical company that has too many middle managers and poor communication.

If you think about becoming a contractor, run away and don't even think about it. They want 2 weeks notice but they will get rid of you without any notice which was very unprofessional of them. The communication from a manager to a contractor was bad! As a contractor, you don't get any PTL or sick leave.

Top leadership is disconnected Customer needs used to be put first, but now it seems that revenue is the only priority

- Transferred on a team with no prior training or orientation - Asked to always ask tech leads for direction but they only gave vague answers and seems like they are too busy to be disturbed - Yearly increase is laughable (up to 4% only)

Beware of some Project Managers. Will retaliate against you for reporting to HR
