In the time I worked here there was rarely a day where I wasn’t texted or called out of hours to complete additional work. I would be called on weekends and weekday evenings due to the managements own constant mistakes and poor steps. All the staff were often told that they can’t leave until certain things were done and staying until 9pm or midnight was frequent. We would be shouted at and insulted for leaving on time and taking a lunch break was VERY taboo. Due to the owners constant mistakes, failures and refusal to hire competent staff (he preferred hiring incompetents to pay them less) we were constantly understaffed which led to prolifically poor mental health at the company. I know of several people that were really suffering and I myself had several panic attacks. On average, employees lasted around 3 months, though many lasted less than 1 month due to the toxic culture. I’m really not exaggerating. Just work ANYWHERE else.
