Pros
They let you be. They are mere intermediaries between you and the final company for which you do the actual work. I can go weeks without having contact with the uSoftware people, and when I do, it's mostly positive. Also, you can make with them the type of money it's very difficult to make with a regular indefinite contract.
Cons
They have some benefits but I wouldn't say they're great.
