      Basic compensation package and minimal OT

      Limited team spirit and communication: Team members did not proactively communicate with one another, leading to a lack of transparency and shared project progress updates Insufficient guidance on product knowledge: There was a lack of adequate support and resources to enhance employees' understanding of the company's products Absence of an empowering culture: Management embraced a micro-managing approach rather than fostering a culture that encourages autonomy and self-direction among employees Unprofessional behavior during meetings: Instances where management used inappropriate language, which created an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere

      Pros

      Some of the +ves have been stated in other reviews: - Flexible working hours. Friendly senior colleagues who are willing to help when asked. - A lot of freedom granted - No politics between colleagues. - No micromanagement. - Casual wear - Boss orders catered lunch every Chinese New Year (pre-covid). GM gives ang pow too ;) - Do look forward to Christmas Eve and New Year's eve ;) - Yearly increment and bonus as long as you are doing ok. - Willing to hire diploma holders.

      Cons

      Cons: - Turnover is somewhat high. Many have left after around the 2 year mark. - Salary is slightly low when compared to graduate employment survey. - No training.

      Nice working environment and colleagues. Provides opportunities for growth and development. No micro-management, approachable leadership. Freedom given to function in their role. Innovation focused which is critical in tech industry. Management is forward thinking to plan for the company's future development and products.

      Cons

      SME related cons, less structured training. Employee need to be resourceful to figure out solutions (in itself is a skill) Compensation and benefits might not be the best vs MNCs.
