Our goal is to be completely transparent with job candidates during the interview process, providing them with unrestricted opportunity to speak with anyone on the team about what it’s like to work here. We strive to create a fun and rewarding work environment. We also work hard to make sure that everyone’s workload is reasonable and sustainable over the long haul. This is accomplished by through quarterly planning that focuses on setting realistic and measurable goals, biweekly sprint retrospectives and a systematic method to get 360 feedback from team members. Aside from this, we've designed many ways for team members to recharge by having a daily mid-day offline hour, daily whiteboard sessions to learn from each other, no meetings each Wednesday, and a generous vacation policy.
That said, individuals who are more comfortable in a large corporate setting that relies on a heavy process would find that their mindset is likely incompatible with how an agile team operates. So during the interview process we give the candidate a day of full immersion into our team culture, so that they can decide for themselves.
