Pros
PTO Remote work Building relationships with patients
Cons
A lot-wolf in sheep’s clothing. Claim to be “religious” but they do not act the part. However, this is pretty typical. They go through nurses faster than I could binge watch a season of Stranger Things. Higher ups were rude and tended to micromanage their employees. Induced fear and acceleration of negative feedback burnout. They seemed disorganized and there were constant changes. Inadequate resources but still required to obtain information regardless (along with meeting strict metrics). If information is unattainable you are to blame. Many people skipped lunches or worked overtime without pay. Now they are asking nurses to work on call during weekends. They stated they wanted feedback from employees but it’s a trick. You could tell by how everyone was silent in meetings -the sheep have learned to keep their heads down. To add this job is 1099 for 3 months. They also do not offer benefits. They do not have a HR department for issues that arise often. Cut throat culture. If you take this job make sure you fit in with “the girls”. Talking to high ups felt like I was talking to a brick wall most the time.
