Pros

Every person on the team was one of the best people you could ever hope to work alongside, not just in their excellence at their job but as fellow colleagues doing high pressure work, the team was second to none.

Cons

Parent company ownership can either have no impact at all or a ton of impact, and when left to it's own devices to put on world class events, I can't think of anywhere better to work than VidCon. With multiple changes in parent company ownership over the years since it was first sold, the freedom to allow that team to do their work can fluctuate greatly based on forced arbitrary choices such as outsourcing in-house work to the lowest bidder to "save money" but then in actuality it causes the core staff have to put in more time and effort to make up for the loss in services, simultaneously adding work to everyone and making it harder to get things done. This impacts certain teams more than others.

Pros

Cool experiences through the job You might get to travel

Cons

A lot of the senior staff are old pals and are like a clique; rules don’t really apply to them- they are so disorganized, unprofessional, and honestly a self-proclaimed ‘sinking ship’. They are stuck in the past and honestly I think the money is mismanaged on seniors
