      Not the friendliest

      Pros

      The best part of working at Wavex is the open drinks fridge on a Friday and a nice swish building

      Cons

      Wavex on the surface seems to be great; lots of engineers, big customers and promises of great social events. However the reality is that everything is minute managed by the boss and no one is left to use their own experience and skill. There is a wide chasm between sales and Technical and staff sit at their desk with headphones in their ears so you're lucky if you get a good morning ! The turnover of staff is astounding. They are either kicked out or they quit. Upper management is always changing because the boss feels he knows better . Worst managed service comps to work for.

      Firstly, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We work hard to ensure all employees are engaged and motivated. To ensure this, we perform quarterly anonymous staff surveys to check how we are doing. It is a shame you have not came forward while you were with the business to discuss your thoughts. In all entrepreneurial businesses, especially those in the IT sector, change is a fundamental part of growing and can at times impact the organisational structures. However, we communicate business decisions openly to staff at our quarterly business update sessions, and always invite staff to provide their feedback. We encourage you to contact us so we can better understand your specific circumstances to ensure our current processes help staff to voice their views.

      Should be a text book of how to ruin a good company

      Pros

      Nice view of London. Good coffee. Plenty of showers. Decent toilets. A handful of very capable people but not enough.

      Cons

      Leadership is dreadful, from the very top down to middle management. Absolutely clueless. Set the standards very low. Lazy. What matters most is who is in the social circle, not who can do an effective job. Too much warm and fuzzy, not enough pragmatism.

      An excellent company to work for!

      Pros

      Although only here for a short period, overall a great company to work for. Excellent values, everyone "gelled" together which is the key to success, which shows with their current growth.
