      Terrible CEO, toxic environment. DO NOT work here if you want a fruitful career.

      Pros

      The team is amazing. I feel bad that they are under such bad management.

      Cons

      1. This CEO has no idea how to run a company or how to behave professionally. 2. Made many creepy comments about women while I was there. Company is predominantly female. 3. Prone to childish tantrums. 4. He was very controlling and did not trust his staff to do their work.

      Leadership abuses power. Toxic tech-bro atmosphere.

      I can't think of any pros.

      Cons

      The company culture is both sexist (people regularly use c-word) and racist (western workers look down on and disrespect Japanese people ). Leadership is impulsive and hires and fires according to their whims. Leadership is surrounded by sycophants who go along with or at least don't speak up against the toxic culture. Overall it is a typical toxic tech-bro atmosphere, and it is very hard to communicate with the people who work there because of the toxic culture. They are obsessessed with money and status and tech and toys. Thank god my internship ended. It was a good experience for the kind of place I don't want to work at in the future.

      Pros

      A very collaborative & team focused company. No matter what your position is, all ideas & suggestions are well received & treated of equal importance. All feedback (positive & negative) is acted upon. An innovative company, always looking for new ideas. Everyone is given all the tools they need to excel in their role -computers, equipment, even warm or cool clothing for the warehouse team -anything you need within reason, just ask & they will order it for you quickly without any red tape. This is a very forward thinking company that will continue to grow & will never stagnate.

      Cons

      Although busy & enjoyable, in this particular position (fulfilment) there isn't really much  opportunity to advance in the company within this role.  Its more suitable for somebody with a lower level Japanese ability, or for someone who is looking for a job without too much responsibility. However if you do want to take on some extra tasks, you only need to ask & they will endeavor to find something extra for you.  If you have a good Japanese ability or are looking for more of a career path, then I would encourage you to apply for a back office position (buyer, customer service, admin ect).
