Pros

I had the privilege of working as a QA Engineer at Witco and can honestly say it was a remarkable experience. From the moment I joined the team, I was greeted by a fantastic group of colleagues and a supportive work environment. The colleagues I worked with were not only highly skilled but also incredibly welcoming. The collaborative atmosphere fostered growth and learning, and I felt like an integral part of the team from day one. The compensation package at Witco is highly competitive. The company values its employees and ensures that they are well rewarded for their hard work. The transparent bonus system at the end of the year was an added bonus, providing extra motivation to excel in my role. Witco offers ample opportunities for career development. Whether it's training programs, mentorship, or the chance to work on challenging tasks, I always felt supported in my professional growth. The company's commitment to delivering high-quality products is truly commendable. This focus on quality is ingrained in the culture, making it a great place for a QA Engineer to thrive and make a significant impact. In summary, my time as a QA Engineer at Witco was exceptional. I am genuinely grateful for my time at the company, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fulfilling career in software quality assurance.

Pros

The first thing that stroke me as I joined the company was its People. The workforce comes from very different backgrounds (different age groups, nationalities, cultures ets...) and you end up working alongside amazing individuals you can learn so much from. What you can notice quite easily as well is the level of commitment of people. They are all ready to go the extra mile to help you out if you need it or to answer a last minute RFP. Regarding the Sales team, commissions are uncapped and the company has always paid them regardless of how long the salesperson stays for.

Cons

Because you work with so many committed individuals, if you are the type of person who doesn't like to go the extra-mile from time to time when needed, unfortunately, you will not like working here.
