I have been working at Works Applications full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - High salary for Fresh Graduates - Latest Technologies being used in new Products - Flexible work hours, Good work life balance - If you are proactive then you can easily get promoted, getting more ownership and experience within the initial years of your career. ( I have seen people with 3-4 YOE within the company, getting promoted to Senior SDE/Tech Lead positions) - If you are in a Good team then you have lot of opportunity to grow, many of the new teams in Singapore have startup kind of environment

    Cons

    - Salary is not so good after 4-5 years as compared to Industry standard - Bad management policies: they are trying to improve slowly - Startup kind of environment: Few products make through the Go-live, others are dropped in between - Lack of experienced Industry leaders within the company - Promotion can sometimes be solely compared to how much proactive you were, simply completing the given tasks won't make you rise faster
