Pros

Its a really good startup that provides multiple opportunities for career growth. You can depend on your team and they will support you through thick and thin. You can reach out to the senior management, they are approachable and willing to mentor you. The company does support a good work-life balance. Their leave policy is really fantastic. Though the company is currently remote, I had always looked forward to the annual meetups. The campany has given me a sense of ownership and initiative that I will carry throughout my career. Overall, the people here really strive to provide a healthy environment for growth and opportunities. They were a treat to work with. I would highly recommend Wysa to anyone who wants to join a team where empathy, collaboration, and growth are prioritized. You can really see yourself grow along with Wysa.

Cons

It was tough to handle resource crunch with limited team members sometimes and that puts a bit of pressure on the team. We did have to wear multiple hats. This does provide a great learning experience with a bit of pressure. But even this was very rare here. Overall my experience has really been positive.

Pros

I can't think of any pros after my harrowing experience there.

Cons

Incompetent managers who lack people skills. Working here can take a severe blow on your self confidence as they constantly make you feel like you are not enough and you're nothing outside of this place. That's probably a way to retain employees and not pay them what they're worth. Layoffs happened yet they didn't inform others. Some people have no clue about it. No severance was given. There's a culture of humiliating and insulting others in calls in front of multiple people. I have been abused by my manager mentally. Constantly humiliated, insulted, looked down upon, manipulated, gaslighted and even exploited. In a span of 6 months, my manager just gave me 2 feedbacks. Feedbacks which are supposed to happen monthly. I was told that my performance was not good while asking me to "leave". When I told that I wasn't given enough feedback, they said, "So what? Your performance didn't improve." How is one supposed to improve their performance without getting appropriate feedback, people aren't mind readers. HR has no power to solve such issues as it's a very small organization and they're not allowed to make any such decisions (the org doesn't trust their employees). Getting shouted at and spoken to rudely on a regular basis not only by your manager but also by the employees who aspire to climb the ladders within this org, gaining brownie points from the leadership, is a regular affair.
