Pros

great work life balance , great coworkers.

Cons

Several projects were started and then stopped and shelved, limited vision and a total change of upper management contributed to the stagnation which was never really presented until layoffs were happening. Despite a great team of dedicated workers and smart people the end product is/was rendered useless to the client.

Pros

Pros Timely pay including pay for indirect time; access to a variety of testing materials

Cons

Cons Poor to no communication regarding contract renewals; weak on-site communication. Unfortunately, from personal experience, eLuma has weak communication with contractors regarding on-site issues as well as contract renewals. If they are not renewing your contract, they may not tell you (which was my case) and instead, when you inquire, you are just told "schools are signing late this year," completing evading what is going on. There was an instance of another remote therapist being assigned to the school on the same day, the same time, and using the same room as I was using which reflects poor communication with the site to manage this situation appropriately.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience with eLuma did not meet your expectations. We value the contributions of all our clinicians and strive to communicate clearly and respectfully throughout every stage of a contract. While the situation described does not align with our standard communication or renewal processes, we understand how important transparency is to our contractors. Each year, renewal timelines may vary depending on district contracting schedules, and we make every effort to share updates as soon as they are available. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to continue improving communication and coordination between our teams, schools, and contractors. We wish you the best in your continued professional journey.

Pros

Kind, Provides a lot of resources. Part-time and full-time positions.

Cons

When there is an issue, small or big, there is usually no resolution. That is common anywhere the SLP is a contractor and the hiring company wants to protect their contract by keeping calm waters, even if they aren't calm.
