Pros

eVerge paid fairly good full time salaries compared to other similar companies. Bonuses were decent also, however, they are a slimey company and if they can figure out a reason for screwing you over in the end they will. They are collapsing under their own weight an as they continue to lay off staff they do their best to not pay out bonuses whenever possible.

Cons

The upper management and owner are completely clueless on how to run a consulting company. The owner spends more of his time on vacation and bashing Obama openly on emails to the entire company than he does actually figuring out how to keep from going bankrupt, which is eminent. They are almost completely built around Siebel work which is virtually now non-existent. They are trying to refocus on the cloud and on offerings like Salesforce but they are too late to the game, don't and never understood the game, and they don't have any ability to successfully restructure their business. Don't believe them when they tell you they have x,y,z going on. They don't. They are liars and users.

Pros

GREAT PEOPLE!!! Over the years I have worked with some great people across the company. All of my co-workers were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Cons

Pretty much everything else: 1. The company continues to succeed in spite of the CEO\President 2. Due to a lack of leadership and vision(refer back to #1) the company has been trying to recover for almost 6 years now. In that time there have been no bonuses or raises paid. The company continues to ask more and more of their employees without holding up there end of the relationship. 3. Benefits are below average. No 401k matching, health is expensive, etc. 4. There is no room to grow your career. The organization is very flat. 5. There is very poor no communication from corporate out to the employees. This is primarily a result of #1. 6. Company expects employees to use their personal credit for all travel expenses and it is very common for employees to carry balances for weeks at a time without getting reimbursed.

Pros

Compensation seems to compare favorably to the market...but don't expect any raises or delivery of the advertised bonus. Worked on project teams with some very bright and personable individuals. Encouraged to train on new technologies during bench time.

Cons

Ineptitude is rampant across the board at roles above the project manager level. The company missed its window to pivot towards and build out practices in areas other than those they experienced previous growth in (Siebel) and are in panic mode chasing any project that may pay. Results in many projects with issues and questionable clients. Many certifications are paper-only to allow the company to meet publisher-required consultant certification numbers only. The company is in dire straights and circling the drain. Do not expect advancement in title, salary, or payout of bonus unless you are part of the inner circle/old guard.
