Pros
- It was once a good place to work.... or so it seemed. When things were going well it seemed fine but hard times exposed major flaws. - They once won awards but those days are long gone and the competition has left them in the slow lane - You are empowered from day 1. However, empowerment can easily push you out of your comfort zone. - Relationships with colleagues is generally positive and collaborative.
Cons
- Command and control style management - Lack of diversity. If you don't fit in, you're history. If you think differently and have something unique to bring don't bother applying as fresh ideas are not listened to. Ideas are the preserve of the so called 'experts' in management. As are all the strategic conversations with clients and prospects. As such there is no succession plan in place and little opportunities to advance into a management role. - No autonomy - management can ask you to drop whatever you are doing for something "urgent" at any time which can be very unsettling - Lack of strategic direction. Caught napping on S4 Hana. - 'It's all about the Management' one manager writes in a review. Yes, it's all about the management who are disconnected and out of touch with the employees - No regard for your wellbeing - the company will chase every dollar of revenue, running you through the mill for lost causes. They will expect you to keep up at all costs, even when you are doing the work of 2 people. - The recent round of redundancies was handled really badly and caused serious harm. Company loses humanity in tough times or shows that it never really had it - It seems like a corner has been turned and the company has stuck with the same group of managers who led the company into decline. Maybe lessons have been learned but don't bank on it. Advice to prospective employees: There is a mixture of good and bad reviews on here. I'd suggest to read only the ones from the last 2 years and contact some current and former employees on LinkedIn for impartial advice and a balanced view Advice to current employees: I sincerely hope the company fortunes improve but take ownership of your own personal development and career growth as the company will not.
