Pros

Salary is worth if you dont have to deal with bad management, company preaches and arranges well being activities. Company benefits are good, really allows you to be safe.

Cons

Benefits are great, company is good and preaches well being but It really depends on your management. They are not receptive to feedbacks and nitpicks on everything, double questions your actions and it will never be enough, the training is also not sufficient. I understand the expectations of the job but I did not expect to have to deal with biasness. Seems like everyone is stuck up to manager. If you are on the good side, work will be swifter, if you are not, you will feel unheard, unappreciated and excluded. Keyleaders (supervisors) seem to lose their happiness after they join. The job should not expect someone to turn mean. Strict is good, not when it is demanding, condescending and unkind. Depends on your team too, might feel excluded and made to do more work because they have cliques or talks during work. Brought feedback up multiple times but always seems like the problem comes right back to me and I have to do better. Internal growth is tough. To move up ur position internally is really hard, someone outside can just apply for the higher position and they get the job.

Pros

Honestly, only the commission. But not worth all the pain you have to go through

Cons

I would give zero stars if i could. Not sure why this company have yet to be investigated by MOM but here u go: 1) they frown upon being sick: Everyone has an employee portfolio where they record down your “progress” but actually is an excuse to track the negative traits such as mc, lateness or not “showing up 100%” at work. There is no proper procedure and no proper KPI to monitor individual progress. Basically they can just vote someone out if they want to. Store management team is extremely toxic and i racist too. They also only hire specific people (usually University students/graduates or Chinese). You either fit in their westernised culture or you will be shunned out and be treated badly. You will be gaslighted into thinking that you suck at your job but actually they just don’t like having you around. Ohh also they have thus culture called “clearing” , its basically for us to declare if we are unwell or not feeling too great or feeling overwhelmed before we start our shift so that the team can “understand “ you and support you, but to be honest, they will use it against you:)

Pros

- High pay - Gym Benefits

Cons

- Absolutely terrible management that treat part timers horridly. - Micromanagement by Management who does not do anything to help on busy ocassions. - Lack of flexibility in scheduling shifts and taking holidays. - Management speaks badly of staff while telling us otherwise. - Biased treatment that favour certain genders and longer time part timers, - Poor Learning plan for new educators to be well-equipped with necessary skills to assist guests, instead, choosing to constantly put down and criticise new staff. - uneccessarily stressful and condescending.
