Cozy working place, nice events, pretty good work-life balance. Friendly people
Cons
A lot of legacy code, messy code, low quality, fixed tech stack, slugish communication with the client, not that much room to grow, most FEs are BE devs forced to do FE.
- You can gain a lot of experience as a junior with different tech stacks and architectures on a variety of projects - The people there are nice and willing to help whenever
Cons
- There are plenty of legacy projects, so if you spend too much time there as a junior you might fall behind the market technology wise - Depending on the team and/or project, certain concepts like clean code or code reviews might be almost absent due to the rushed nature of the tasks and/or deadlines - Below average compensation package
As long you speak and live German you’ll be good. There is good career progression and approachable management. Salary was good, company events generous! As a rule, they look after you, I always felt as though I was more than a revenue stream.
Cons
When I was there, a proper client risk mitigation strategy could have helped as all eggs seemed to be in few baskets. We somehow lost what our unique market proposition was and became a bit of body leasing shop, it may be different now.
