The rattle of a shaking spray paint can cut through the crisp air on a cold February morning in Henderson, Nevada, just miles from the famous Las Vegas Strip. Holding the can wasn’t a graffiti artist looking over his shoulder for police; instead, it was an ADT employee, hoping his work will help those first responders find a street address faster, should the need arise.
On a quaint Lansing, Michigan, street sits what looks like a turquoise dollhouse resting on a white pole, complete with detailed painted trim and a stone chimney. The miniature house is a Little Free Library filled with books for young neighbors to borrow and enjoy.
ADT is donating a total of $50,000 to the YMCA of South Florida and the YMCA of South Palm Beach County through the ADT Safe Places program. The organizations are each receiving $25,000 from ADT to best serve their community, with an emphasis on safety for all children, regardless of a family’s economic situation.
