ERM is incredibly proud to be able to share the ERM Sustainability Report 2023. This flagship report sets out and celebrates our sustainability performance and the positive impact our people and the company as a whole is having on the planet. ERM’s greatest impact is of course through the work we do with our clients. But while many organizations have now made commitments, set targets and articulated their sustainability strategies, that’s when the hard work really starts. And that’s where ERM is ideally placed to help companies deliver on the ground. Reflecting that impact, this year’s report provides over 40 case studies and examples of how we are all making an incredible difference. We hope you are inspired and consider joining ERM. These are the stories of why our people show up every day. ERM’s report is a leading example of this, prepared according to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards with a series of supplementary materials such as our TCFD Disclosure, Modern Slavery Statement and Performance data.
Experts overwhelmingly agree that climate change is the most pressing challenge of our time when it comes to sustainable development, according to the latest GlobeScan / The SustainAbility Institute by ERM Leaders Survey - the largest and most comprehensive survey of its kind. To mark this memorable occasion, our 48-strong team gathered on the beach together to capture this incredible shot! Visit erm.com/careers and help shape a sustainable future!
There’s no day better than #WorldTurtleDay 🐢 to share our collaboration with Sea Turtles Forever in Costa Rica. The ERM Foundation provided funding to support their work to protect and restore threatened sea turtle populations, including preparing education materials for 180 school students and providing income for locals patrolling the beach. This quarter’s update tracks six corporate sustainability macrotrends affecting the private sector.
Last week we observed our annual Global Inclusion Week (GIW) where we explored the theme of Sustainable Inclusion. GIW 2023 is in part about reinforcing why ERM's work on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) is more important than ever. It is helping us ensure we can help our clients tackle the sustainability challenges they face. But it’s also about embedding the consciously inclusive behaviors we have been focusing on over the last year. While our employees are engaging with ERG events, social campaigns and client roundtable discussions, we’d like to share a few of our achievements over this past year and some of our upcoming plans to make ERM an even more inclusive place for all.
The ERM Foundation exists to enable our business and people to provide funding and professional support for not-profit organizations and social enterprises that share our commitment to creating a more sustainable and equitable world.
