When it's not the busy season, you have the opportunity to plan your PTO, vacation days, and sick leave more flexibly.
Cons
Long work hours during the busy season with limited job stability. Employees in the U.S. receive little recognition, and with more tasks being offshored, senior staff are overloaded with multiple engagements while more associates face layoffs.
Generally, a very supportive team with a great working culture, some interesting client work and access to good learning material.
Cons
Tough market for consulting at the moment, a lot of layoffs and as a junior there is little room to explore areas of interest. Politics at the higher end of town is having a larger effect on the whole team.
Some great people / partners but if you are not aligned directly with them life can get hard real fast.
Positive diversity
Cons
Senior leadership in cyber micro manage all the way down to personally approving small business expenditures, while the whole consulting division is struggling.
MV creates a toxic environment from the top down and we have lost (through layoffs and attrition) so many good people those of us who are left are struggling to fill the void
Good work life balance, can’t state that enough. Very kind people.
Cons
Management cannot figure out how to avoid layoffs. It seems like a matter of when not if every year and is frankly exhausting. Years of poor raises/bonuses and layoffs in a stock market that’s supposedly booming, and nobody has been held accountable.
