      Tutor Interview

      6 Nov 2023
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at 2U (New York, NY) in Jan 2019

      Interview

First, a recruiter calls you to evaluate your personality and have a general impression of you –why you want to tutor, if you have previous experience with teaching/tutoring, how long you have been coding– along with a couple technical questions. Then they will test your capacity to teach by having a mock teaching session which is a great way to evaluate potential candidate. Very professional all around.
