I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AT&T (Chicago, IL) in May 2018
Interview
I applied online and within a couple hours I received an email to complete an online assessment. Within a few days I was invited to do an online video interview where I had to record myself answering a number of questions from home. About a week and a half passed and I was invited to an in-person interview at the job location. I interviewed with a manager there and within a week I received an email saying the interview went well and I would be moving forward with the process. I had to join in a conference call with 2 staffing managers and 30+ other potential new hires. They explained a fw was emails we would receive shortly about our offer letters, drug testing, and background check paperwork. I completed my drug test within 48 hours. My background check came back in about a week and I was told that I officially got the job and I can start on the start date that was given to us during the conference call.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Explain a time in a previous role when you had to deal with a difficult customer.
There was a role play part where the interviewer pretended to be a caller calling in about her AT&T bill and you would have to pretend like you were a call center representative and assist the caller.
I interviewed with 2 people. They asked pretty standard interview questions related to how I would handle certain customer service issues. One interviewer was very rude and dismissive. When asked about my scheduling availability, I mentioned I had a conflict but could work around it. This interviewer said that was unacceptable and berated me for wasting their time. I was immediately dismissed.

Interview
This interview was very brief but overall went well. I enjoyed every second of it and can not wait for a status update on the hiring process. Fingers crossed for an update soon!
