I applied thru LinkedIn job posting and a recruiter reached out to me on phone and went gaga over the Airbnb culture and how they've got all ex-FAANG employees work for them in their India centre. The first interview was set up with a Lead, for screening which was a mistake considering the role for the same position. The envy was visible and the interviewer asked about my employment gap (9 months, that too 6 years ago!) and enquired about my maritial status, which isn't prohibited to ask in India but generally frowned upon. The next day- I got the generic 'unfortunate' email that I'm no longer considered. I tried emailing the recruiter about feedback, and where can I provide mine but she never responded.
