Interview
This was a very time consuming 4 stage process.
First was a basic interview with two people with a 40 minute logic test. Then I was asked to complete a very lengthy series of Q programming exercises which took several days. Then I was invited back and had a 1:1 interview with one of the developers about my Q exercise solutions. Then I had another technical interview with two people.
From the beginning it was evident that they had no intention of hiring me. The final stage interviewers seemed very uninterested and a bit condescending of my technical background. I have heard similar accounts from people who have applied and progressed through this process for the same position.
Very very blunt and abrupt rejection email. I asked for feedback in and my email was ignored. I would advise against applying here if you don't want your time wasted.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AquaQ Analytics (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Jan 2020
Interview
-Initial face-to-face interview (approx. 45mins) consisting of general CV and background questions.
-Written logic test onsite (45mins)
-Developer exercises working with kdb+ (given a week to complete approx. 10 hours worth of work)
-Final face to face interview based firstly on the developer exercises and then more technical questions (aprrox. 1 hour)
A very thorough and time consuming process however i found having the chance to experience the sort of work you do there through the developer exercises a very positive experience. In general, there was always an element of informality at every stage of the process and everyone who interviewed me or I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. You truly do get the feeling they want discover the real you as a person, how you will fit in at the company in the day-to-day.
