Interview
The COO of the McCain Institute makes you feel like you've got the job... Then you don't. The HR wasn't great with responding to emails. Yet, the staff I interviewed with in the democracy team was pleasant.
It was multiple interviews, including in-person and over the phone modalities. The final interview was with the person who would be supervising me. The difficulty was average and there was lots of room for asking questions.

The interview process was very simple and to the point. A lot of the questions did relate to the job specifically so it is important to look into the details of the program and the job description.
