BAE Systems USA Interview Questions

First was a phone screen with the recruiter. The recruiter did not call me at the scheduled time, but called later in the day. He did not apologize for missing/forgetting it and was quite rude during our conversation. The second phone interview was with the hiring manager. Although we had a pleasant conversation (I thought), I was ghosted and no one ever followed up with me about whether or not I was moving forward. I only found out by checking my candidate profile on their careers' page. Definitely not a great candidate experience!

Preliminary phone call with the recruiter. After speaking with them about the role and company they mentioned that they were not able to sponsor international candidates for this position. Otherwise it was a great fit.

Straight forward 3 hr interview after hr phone screening . Everyone was very nice and the technical was not difficult. Talked with 2 engineers and a systems engineer. Thought it went well but never heard back.

I applied online and it took 2-3 weeks to schedule the phone interview. After I interviewed, they told me the result would take 1-2 weeks, then I got my rejection on Saturday

Applied online then received an email to schedule a phone interview. Asked about previous experiences, level of knowledge in different languages, and python questions. Interviewer was kind and told me what the job entailed.

Phone screen and then a virtual interview with the team manager. The offer was sent about 2 weeks after the last interview. This was for a Wayne, NJ role. I believe the interview process is slightly different for different teams.

Simple behavioral interview, asking about the candidates previous experience in electronic production and questions about company culture. Single stage interview, though I understand most positions go through a panel interview.

It was a seminar interview where you present your research work. After the presentation as the first thing in the morning, there are several one-to-one interviews throughout the day. The interviewers range from various levels

Straightforward and easy going. Know your information, about yourself, the company, the role, the interviewer(s), etc. Be yourself, professional, and do not talk a lot. You almost never not ask any questions at the end of the interview, take notes while listening or mid point into their response, and follow up within 24 hours.

Just asked all of the basic interview questions you can think of. Strengths, weaknesses, "give an example of a time when..." Went through my resume and experience and career goals.
