You have only a few minutes to think about a topic and structure your response. If you are able to hit on the right points you are successful. I felt that this doesn't truly test your background. It just takes lot of practice and this system favors students from B-schools and group environments where students can get to prepare between themselves. If you are applying by yourself then you are on your own island.
