The interview was relaxed and the interviewer was quite young, dressed casually. I felt at ease throughout the interview. This was my first job interview having been living in another country for a few years. I was expecting the usual interview dialogue but she didn't ask about my work experience, my work record etc. It was just eight or so 'Competency-based' questions. I answered these to the best of my ability having learned about the STAR method and thanks to others experiences here on Glassdoor. I felt the interview went very well and combined with my previous customer service experience, I believed I stood a good chance of being offered a job. I received an email ten days later (they said it would be 5 working days) confirming my rejection. I requested feedback twice, but after 4 weeks I doubt I'll receive any.

The interview consisted of the following: 3 questions from the critical skills required for the role. Each of the 3 questions then had numerous small questions, so it was a bit hard to follow along. The interviewers also seemed to forget I was coming as there was no room booked for the interview or a place for me to sit, once we went into somebody's office. There was also only 1 interviewer, which had my internal alarm screaming, especially coming from an HR background.
