      I applied online and was invited for a group assessment in Rome.I was told after the assessment, in the case of success, there would be a contact to meet the responsible of the office that was hiring for the post I had applied for. In Rome I found other candidates applying for similar position all around Italy. We underwent an improvised group assessment and an even more risible individual role play. After that, I was told the result of this step of the process would have been communicated by the week, whether it be positive or negative. Almost one month gone without any wave.

      it is not proper to talk about questions. I really had it hard to understand what they wanted to get at with the interview, and I can swear they could have no element t choose people unless they were picking them randomly from the pack.

      The selection process started with an assessment which is supposed to give a chance to show your practical skills in this particular role. The idea is great but the assessment itself was confusing, there was not enough time to answer all the questions properly and many questions were not even that relevant to the role. If you manage to pass, you move to the interview stage which is the interview with a recruiter. I had a pretty relaxed interview with a lovely recruiter who said I left a positive impression and she will present my candidature to the next stage (which is an interview with the manager). However, at the end of the same day I received a message that they will not be moving forward with my application with no further feedback. A couple of weeks later I saw the role being reposted again.
